Essentially, this is an oversized "headband".
Slip it over your head so that it's entirely around your neck. Pull out any hair caught between it and your neck. Pull the cap over your hair so that the folded edge is framing your face.
This is a great base to pin scarves to for fancy hijab styling, for keeping any scarf from sliding around while keeping stray hairs in place. Make one or several, you will love it! Give them as gifts or sell them on EBay. I do!
These are also wonderful for doing facials or make-up whether it's on yourself, a friend or a client. Like a headband, it keeps the hair out of ones face, only better. Give them to your non-Muslim friends as gifts! Any woman will love one of these. Some sisters use the sleeves from T-shirts for this. Now, THAT's "re-purpose-ing". Love that!
